Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These terms govern enrolment in the AI/SHIP seven-day programme and use of www.aiship.in. Because most students are minors, the agreement is between AI/SHIP and the student's parent or legal guardian, who enrols on the student's behalf and accepts these terms.

2. The programme

AI/SHIP is a seven-day sprint (two days in person in the announced city, five days online) during school holidays, for students aged 13 to 21. The outcome we work toward: a live ecommerce store on the student's own domain and a first paying customer.

3. Price and what's included

The fee is ₹24,999, inclusive of GST, covering: seven days of live teaching, one domain (.in or .com) for one year, AI-tool credits for the sprint, an assigned mentor, six months of hosting, lifetime membership of the AI/SHIP Builders Club, and the parent dashboard. There are no tiers, no upsells, and nothing is auto-billed. Any future optional services are a separate, explicit choice.

4. The guarantee

"Attends" means joining the scheduled sessions; if illness or an emergency interrupts the week, tell us and we will move the student to the next batch anyway — that is what we would want as parents.

5. Payment and refunds

• Reserving a seat on the website is free and is not a payment.
• Payment is collected only after we speak with the family on WhatsApp.
• Cancellation more than 7 days before the batch starts: full refund.
• Cancellation within 7 days of the start: we move the student to a later batch instead of refunding, unless the seat can be filled — then we refund in full.
• If we cancel or reschedule a batch, you choose: full refund or a seat in the next batch.

6. Parent and student responsibilities

• A parent/guardian remains the point of contact and is responsible for consents, payments, and the student's participation.
• The student needs a laptop and an internet connection for the online days.
• Students are expected to behave respectfully; we may remove a student who makes the room unsafe for others, with a pro-rata refund.

7. The student's work belongs to the student

Everything the student builds — the store, the brand, the domain, the products — belongs to the student and their family. AI/SHIP claims no ownership. We only showcase a student's work publicly with written parental permission.

8. Third-party tools

The programme uses third-party tools (e.g. Lovable, Cursor, ChatGPT, hosting and domain providers) under their own terms. We provide the credits and accounts needed for the sprint; ongoing use after the included periods (domain: 1 year; hosting: 6 months) is the family's choice and cost.

9. Earnings honesty

We teach students to find a real customer, and our students have done so — but we do not promise revenue, profit, or business success. A first rupee is a lesson, not a guarantee of income.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AI/SHIP's total liability under this agreement is limited to the fee paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy — including its children's-data protections — is part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
